Keep your team informed of outgoing posts with our Slack Marketing Boost Channels integration. The Slack Marketing Boost integration automatically sends a notification to a designated Slack channel each time a post is published. It's an easy way to boost internal visibility and keep everyone in the loop.
Note: This is different from the Slack Notifications integration, which sends your personal Ordinal notifications (like approvals, mentions, and comments) directly to you in Slack.
How to Connect a Marketing Boost Channel
Connecting a channel is quick and easy.
Navigate to Settings > Integrations and select Slack.
Find the Marketing Boost Channels section.
Click the Connect button
Follow the prompts from Slack to choose a workspace and the specific channel you want to post updates to.
After connecting, you can set the channel to be notified for all posts by default or choose to trigger notifications manually for specific posts.
How It Works
Once your channel is connected, you have full control over when it gets notified.
Using Post Automations
For any post you're creating, you can configure whether a Slack notification gets sent and to which channel(s) it gets sent to.
In the post editor, scroll down to the Post Automations section.
Click Slack Boost.
Select your desired Slack channel from the dropdown list.
You can also add an optional message to provide context or encouragement for your team!
This notification will be sent to the selected channel as soon as the post is successfully published.
Default Channel Notifications
You can set a channel to be notified automatically for every post that gets published. A paper airplane icon will appear next to channels with this setting enabled.
You can manage this setting at any time:
Go to Integrations > Slack.
Find the channel under Marketing Boost Channels.
Click the three-dot menu next to the channel name and select Edit channel settings.
Toggle the switch for "Notify channel of all posts by default."
